A common species in the nemoral forests, totally apomictic
(propagation through seeds which are not the result of sexual
reproduction but parthenogenesis). Due to this the majority of the
individuals have deffective corollas, most of them even with no
petals at all.

Individuals from the same forestry area photographed at the same
date but a few hundreds meters to the north, around 46 44 55.85 N /
23 32 59 06 E. These all have divided basal leaves and were formerly
classified as Ranunculus binatus Kit.
